Bacot and Ingram 46pts and 23 boards as UNC beats Duke.

The trio of Armando Bacot, Harrison Ingram, and RJ Davis went off and UNC took the lead and never looked back in this rivalry. It seemed UNC was just too fast in transition after turnovers as they outscored Duke, 19-7 in points off turnovers, which isn’t surprising when you realize Duke had 10 turnovers to UNC’s just 5 mistakes. Another stat to look at is free throws, while shooting a good percentage Duke only shot 11 free throws making 9, UNC went 18-25 making 7 more than Duke even attempted. Overall UNC played a great home game just outplaying the Blue Devils offensively and showing a great ability to pass and win the one-on-ones on the defensive. Davis and Bacot both dished out 5 assists as UNC collected 18 assists offensively and showed elite playmaking on switches from the pick-and-roll. Duke should not be discouraged as they did not play a horrible game and had a couple of big moments created by breakout freshman Jared McCain who led in scoring and rebounding with 23 and 11 for another double-double in a very tough away environment. The inability to shoot the three ball as well also hurt the away team with only 3 different players even making a triple. When everything was said it was a great game and both teams looked like they could be on track for a deep and interesting March Madness run.
